“Hollywood South” Closing Out Record Year

Louisiana is continuing to prove itself to be Hollywood South. Louisiana Film Office Director Chris Stelly says that 2010 will close out as a record year for Louisiana Film. Stelly says that currently filming is Treme Season 2, So Undercover with Miley Cirus, Battleship staring Liam Neeson, Zac Efron's The Lucky One, and Killer Joe with Matthew McConaughy among others. Stelly says that 9 films are in pre-production right now and set to start shooting in Louisiana in 2011. Stelly says that the trend is great for celebrity sightings and Louisiana's economy.
