Home Burglary Suspects Arrested

Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Colby Arceneaux, 18-year-old Harlen Nugent, and an unnamed juvenile are believed to be responsible for a home burglary on Leed Champagne Road late last month. Four handguns and a rare coin collection were stolen in that burglary. The guns were recovered in both Rayne and Lafayette. Arceneaux and Nugent have been booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. The juvenile is in the St. Martin Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
