"What's raised in Acadiana, stays in Acadiana" is the motto of the Acadian Home Builders Association's Home for the Holidays project.

Each year, the Acadian Home Builders Association (AHBA), a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade organization, offers you a way to help four great charities in Acadiana:

  • Lafayette Habitat for Humanity
  • Faith House
  • St. Michael's Center for Veterans
  • Healing House

The members of AHBA take turns donating money, resources and time to build a home that can be won. The funds raised help the four charities carry out their various missions.

The 2016 Home for the Holidays is located at 611 Channel Drive in Broussard, La. It was designed by Trahan Architecture + Planning and built by AHBA member Mark Gallagher of Mar-Key Builders.
