Honeywell to Expand and Retool Baton Rouge Plant
Honeywell Corporation says they will invest over 30-million-dollars to re-tool their Baton Rouge plant to produce a new, environmentally friendly coolant.
Governor Jindal says Honeywell will retain 200 existing jobs, create about a dozen new, high paying jobs and spin-off dozens of indirect jobs in the Capitol area. The state is giving Honeywell just under 2-million dollars in tax credits to stay in Baton Rouge.
