New Orleans is now 0-3 in overtime games this season after falling to Toronto 104-97. Despite a late run to force overtime, the Hornets offense went cold in the extra period, helping the Raptors capture a rare road win.

Ryan Anderson hit a clutch three-pointer that hit the rim twice with only 8.1 seconds left in regulation. After trailing by 13 in the final frame, the shot capped off a furious rally by New Orleans to tie the game at 91 and force OT. Anderson finished with 17 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

Hornets point guard Greivis Vasquez (pictured) finished one rebound shy of his first career triple-double. His 20 points, 14 assists, and 9 rebounds helped, but his 6 turnovers hurt. In fact, the most lopsided stat of Friday night's contest was turnovers and points scored off of them.

The Raptors scored 23 points off of 17 Hornet turnovers. New Orleans only scored 5 points off of 7 Toronto turnovers. Other than that, and the scoreboard, the Hornets dominated every other category, making the loss that much more painful.

We've just got to learn how to win in situations like that. We made a great stop at the end (of 4th quarter). That was huge of this team to step up and do that. We just need to learn how to win in situations like overtime," said Anderson in post game. "That's kind of a new thing for a lot of these younger guys. You've just got to fight through that. It's a learning process. We have a ton of talent and we can take teams down to the end, like tonight. We just need to learn that every play counts in moments like that."

Hornets rookie Anthony Davis (pictured) continues to show signs of his immense talent ceiling. He led New Orleans in scoring Friday night with 25 points, including 8 in the fourth quarter. He also had 9 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was sensational, scoring a game-high 30 points while playing a game-high 49 minutes. Perhaps even more impressive was his amount of turnovers in 49 minutes of play...zero.

New Orleans hits the road for a Saturday night matchup with the reeling Charlotte Bobcats, losers of 17 straight. The game also marks the return of Hornets shooting guard Eric Gordon, who has missed every game this season with a knee injury. Tip-off from Charlotte is set for 6:00.
