State Police say a man in Houma has died from injuries he sustained after driving a stolen vehicle into a flower shop. State Police spokesman Trooper Bryan Zeringue (zer-ANG) says the man stole the car from a convenience store. Zeringue says the man who reported the vehicle stolen had left the engine running at the store and the doors were unlocked. He says the man who stole the vehicle was reportedly arguing with the cashier at the store and left angry. Zeringue says the man's identity is withheld, while family members are being notified. He says blood samples are being sent to the crime lab to determine if the man was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Zeringue says you should never leave your vehicle running when going into a store.
