HOUMA, La. (AP) — Terrebonne Parish authorities say drugs played a role in the killings of a man and woman found dead with bullet wounds last month at their home in Houma.

A Sheriff's Office spokeswoman says the victims, 24-year-old Alyce Chauvin and 29-year-old Troy Michael Hebert were suspected drug dealers and users.

The Courier of Houma reports that detectives do not yet have a suspect.
