A Houma woman was arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Friday for terrorizing.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reports that 41-year-old Sherry Whitaker allegedly called in a bomb threat to the riverboat Friday afternoon.

Deputies helped the captain evacuate the boat.  No bomb was found, and then casino patrons were allowed back on the boat.

Detectives investigating the situation found out that Whitaker allegedly told someone that she had left a bomb on the boat.

Whitaker was taken to the parish jail.
