Hub City PD Investigates Body Found Near Acadiana Park

Police are currently investigating the discovery of a body near Lafayette's Acadiana Park.

Lafayette Police department spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton told KPEL the case is being treated as a suspicious death.

The discovery was made near the intersection of West Alexander Street and Lajaunie Road.

Investigators discovered a revolver next to the man's body.

The man may have committed suicide, but authorities have not confirmed that theory.
