Hunting Death In Rapides Parish Ruled Accident

The death of a man in Rapides Parish over the weekend is being blamed on a hunting accident.

The sheriff's office said 37-year-old John Michael Haynes was shot around 7 a.m. Saturday by another hunter who thought he was shooting a deer. +

No charges have been filed in the accident.
