Calcasieu Parish sheriff's deputies recovered more than $80,000 in cocaine after a traffic stop on Interstate 10.

Police say a traffic stop was conducted on 33-year-old Robert Williams of Ozark, Ala., but when he began behaving suspiciously, backup was called in.

Police say they asked for permission to search Williams' car, but he refused. A K-9 unit was called in to sniff the scene, which led to a warrant to search Williams' car.

Two pounds of cocaine was found hidden in the lining of the trunk, police say.

Williams was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Office on a $15,000 bond on a charge of  possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
