I-10 Exit Ramp Work To Start In Lafayette

Beginning Monday, January 19th the Department of Transportation will begin a $1 million project to modify east and westbound exit ramps on I-10 at Ambassador Caffery.

Even though most work will take place during the day crews will begin by removing striping and re-striping the existing lanes from 7:00pm until 6:00am. Intermittent lane closures will occur during this time period. The project is due for completion in March of this year.

DOTD reminds motorist to use extreme caution and to be aware of workers and construction equipment.
