I-10 Road/Lane Closures Happening Over The Weekend

As of now, there are 2 road/lane closures happening on I-10 over the weekend. They will happen over Iberville and West Baton Rouge Parishes.

The first closure will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday as the East bound right lane of I-10 between Ramah (Exit 135) and the Iberville/West Baton Rouge Parish Line will be closed. This includes the Grosse Tete Exit Ramp (Exit 139) and is needed for pavement removal and replacement. The closure will last until 6:00 a.m. on Monday. Heavy delays are expected.

Suggested Detour Route: Take I-10 EB to I-49 NB. Proceed north to US 190 EB. Take US 190 east to LA 415. Proceed south on LA 415 SB to I-10 EB.

The other closure will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday as the West bound left lane of I-10 between LA 415 (Exit 151) and the Iberville/West Baton Rouge Parish Line (Mile Post 141) will be closed. But, the LA 415 entrance and exit ramps will stay open as crews perform pavement removal and replacement. Heavy delays are expected

Suggested Detour Route: Take I-10 WB to LA 415. Proceed north on LA 415 to US 190. Take US 190 west to I-49. Proceed south on I-49 to I-10 WB.
