I-10 Road/Lane Closures Set For This Weekend

There are multiple road/lane closures set to happen this weekend in Calcasieu Parish.

Saturday through Monday, the I-10 Westbound right lane at the Calcasieu River Bridge (milepost 28.6) will be closed during the following times:

• Saturday April 23, 2016, westbound right lane at MP 28.6 will be closed from 6:30 am – 4:00 pm for inspection
• Sunday April 24, 2016, westbound right lane at MP 28.6 will be closed from 5:00 am – 4:00 pm for inspection
• Monday April 25, 2016, westbound right lane at MP 28.6 will be closed from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm for inspection

Also, I-10 will be closed to both directions at Exit 27 (LA 378 Westlake) from 3:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.  All eastbound and westbound traffic will be detoured via Interstate 210. Below are where drivers will be redirected:

• I-10 Westbound motorists will be redirected at Exit 30B (LA 385 Ryan Street)
• I-10 Eastbound motorists will be redirected at Exit 27 (LA 378 Westlake)
• I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp and I-10 Westbound exit ramp at Exit 27 will be closed
