A state judge has barred the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries from renewing a permit allowing an I-10 truck stop to keep a live tiger on display. Friday's injunction, from District Judge Michael Caldwell means the 10-year-old Siberian-Bengal mix will eventually leave the Tiger Truck Stop where he has lived since he was a cub. Animal Legal Defense Fund lawyer Matthew Liebman says Tony will probably end up in a big cat sanctuary, where he'll have more room and less noise.
