I-10 Westbound Close Over Bonnet Carre Spillway

KENNER, La. (AP) — State police have closed Interstate 10 westbound near the Bonnet Carre Spillway as they investigate a fatal accident.

Traffic is being diverted Friday morning to Interstate 310 South.

Trooper Melissa Matey says two people died in the three vehicle accident.

Additional details about the crash were not immediately available.
