I-10 Widening Project Continues Friday Night

Any high school football fans traveling through Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes this Friday night will want to take note of this.

There will be alternating lane closures happening in both directions of I-10 from LA 328 to I-49 as DOTD workers perform a sweeping operation. The work will begin at 8 PM Friday night and last until 6 AM Saturday morning.

This is part of the I-10 widening project that involves a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge.
