I-10 Widening Project To Cause Road/Lane Closures Through Monday

DOTD workers are continuing their widening work on a 7.11-mile section of I-10 from I-49 to Breaux Bridge. The project includes pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to La. 328 (Breaux Bridge), spanning Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes.

Wednesday until Monday, July 10, the eastbound left lane of I-10 from the Vermilion River to La. 328 will be closed for the installation of concrete barriers. This will happen nightly from 8 PM to 6 AM, weather permitting.
