Iberia Deputies Find Unattended Car With Bullet Holes At Park

Yesterday, Iberia Parish Sheriff's Deputies were called out to West End Park on Field Street after someone complained about hearing shots fired in that area.

Deputies came across an unattended car that appeared to have bullet holes in it.

Not long after finding the car, deputies were called about a man showing up at an Iberia hospital who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers wanted to question the victim, but he was uncooperative.  He told deputies that he was not going to file any charges on the suspect.

Detectives are still investigating in case there was any other criminal activity that might have taken place at the same time.
