Four Iberia Parish deputies have made Christmas brighter for victims of a house fire. While the deputies were enjoying lunch at a local restaurant an unidentified man walked up, thanked them for their service and left money on the table to pay for their lunch.

The deputies had recently learned of a family who had lost everything in a house fire and decided to match their benefactor's gesture. The deputies sent out emails to other deputies soliciting donations for the McAllister/Jenkins family and today were able to deliver toys, clothes and other needed items to the family living in temporary housing.

The deputies who mounted this holiday drive were: Deputy Christopher Wilson, Corporal Cassie Duhon, Deputy LIndsey Comeaux and Deputy Craig Lewis.
