Godspell, (an archaic spelling of "gospel"), is loosely based on the "Gospel According to St. Matthew" and remains one of the most beloved musicals of all time. A group of followers assist Jesus in telling different parables by using a wide variety of storytelling techniques with a touch of comic relief.
