Iberia Parish Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

Iberia Parish Sheriff's officials from the Cyber Unit arrested an Iberia Parish man after getting tips about uploading child pornography.

Deputies say Gerard Richard was charged with 250 counts of possession of pornography involving juvenile for having the pictures on his computer.

He was also charge for six counts of possession of child pornography for having six images on his phone.

Richard, of 2006 Badger Trail #19, was also charged for failure to register as a sex offender.

His bond had been set at $350,000.
