Iberia Parish Road Closures Scheduled For This Week

This week, there are a few road closures happening in Iberia Parish.

• The median crossover of Jefferson Island Road in between the on and off ramps of US 90 eastbound will be closed until 5 PM for roadway repairs.
• Bayside Street will be reduced to 1 lane at its intersection with Main Street each day from 8 AM until 5 PM until Wednesday. Workers will be repairing an existing sewer force main.
• Eastbound right lane of Center Street will be closed from Tuesday through Thursday, from 8 AM to 5 PM each day, as DOTD crews perform roadway repairs.
• Avery Island Road southbound will be closed to traffic approaching from LA 14 Tuesday through Thursday, from 8 AM to 5 PM each day. Northbound Avery Island Road traffic, approaching from US 90, will still have access to LA 14. Detour for the closure will be LA 14, LA 83, Lewis Street and US 90.
