Iberia Parish Sheriff Searches For Two Battery Suspects

Last night at 9:00 Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of an aggravated battery complaint in the 1800 block of the Weeks Island Road. The victim told deputies she was attacked by two men as she tried to enter her camper. The men attempted to rape her but she was able break free and call for help. The suspects fled and the victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
