Iberia Police Arrest Copper Thief

A copper thief in Iberia Parish is now behind bars. Police say they got a call about someone tampering with the electrical poles at West End Park. When police arrived, the suspect tried to flee the area on a bike, but officers were able to arrest him. Charles Kelegan has been booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on charges of theft and resisting arrest.
