An impaired driver on I-12 in Louisiana is caught on tape veering all over the roadway. The end result? A Louisiana State Police Officer's vehicle gets rear-ended!

The witnesses are rolling video as they are on the line with 911, trying to get an officer to the scene to pull the car over. A few miles go by, and finally, parked on the merge lane to the interstate, is a Louisiana State Police SUV.

The driver who, according to WGNO, was high on heroin allows the vehicle to drift over into the merge lane and WHAM-O!, the State Police Officer gets rear-ended.

I hope that the Trooper was uninjured in this incident.

It's events like these that remind me of how much danger our law enforcement officials see each day of their duty.
