Impaired Driving Death Leads To Seven Years Hard Labor

Taylor Pellerin pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in the death of his best friend. According to KATC Pellerin was driving on I-10 in 2014 when he lost control of his vehicle with 22 year old Jordan Gatte being ejected from the vehicle. Gatte was then struck by a passing 18 wheeler. Pellerin was sentenced to seven years hard labor with two years suspended. The first three years of Pellerin's sentence will be served without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
