Phase one of Louisiana's re-opening started today and the state Fire Marshal issued the final guidelines late Thursday night. They are broken up into nine specific documents depending on the industry. It comes after Governor Edwards' announcement on Monday to begin re-opening businesses with capacity restrictions and hygiene requirements.

A few guidelines seem to be universal across all businesses:

  • masks are required for employees who have direct interaction with the public
  • indoor capacity is limited to 25% of the permitted max capacity
  • arrangements must be made to allow for a minimum of 6 feet between customers

You can read, download and print all of the guidelines depending on your industry below.
