Insane Inflatable 5k Runs Today – Rain Or Shine

It's one of Lafayette's most unique and anticipated running, jumping, sliding, and laughing events. It's the Insane Inflatable 5k at Evangeline Downs. Despite the threat of passing showers the event will run rain or shine.

What makes the Insane Inflatable 5k so unique is the over sized obstacles that are put in your path. Okay, they aren't really obstacles, it's more like giant bounce houses of fun that give this running event a lot more excitement than your regular street run.

There are still slots available for those who are wishing to participate. Just come out to Evangeline Downs Racetrack Hotel and Casino. You can sign up on site. Most of the waves, corrals to those familiar with street events, have space for entire teams.  The first wave will start at 8:45 and the final wave is scheduled for Noon.

Don't let the threat of a passing shower be your excuse for passing up the event that everyone that's into unique and fun events will be talking about.
