Investigator Assigned To Pedestrian Crash On I-10

As funeral services were held on Sunday for the teenager who was found dead on I-10 early Friday morning, Lafayette Police announce an investigator has been assigned to the crash.

According to our news partners at KATC, 18-year-old Grant Ingram's funeral was held in Natchitoches. A driver told Lafayette Police she struck the UL-Lafayette student's body, which she says was lying on the interstate, about an hour or two after midnight. Lafayette Police Corporal Paul Mouton says authorities are investigating whether Ingram may have been struck by other vehicles prior to the woman who called them.
