Iota Couple Charged With Theft Of Alcohol

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested and charged a couple with theft of alcohol after an investigation into a case of shoplifting on July 22.

The convenience store and truck stop, located in the 100 block of Frontage Road near Duson, complained about alcohol being stolen following a shoplifting incident.

Warrants were issued for the arrests of 39-year-old Kami rivet and 39-year-old Kenton Aycock of Iota.

Both were taken to the Acadia Parish Jail for theft of goods, and Judge Kristian Earles set bond for both at $7,500.
