ARCADIA, La. (AP) — An investigation by the Bienville Parish School Board has concluded that student testing irregularities occurred at two schools.

Results of the investigations at Gibsland-Coleman School in Gibsland and Crawford Elementary in Arcadia have been turned over to the state Department of Education and the state superintendent for review, according to The Times (http://bit.ly/K6p1Qy).

Bienville Parish schools Superintendent William Britt said a plan to address the problem also was submitted.

Britt declined to disclose how many employees were involved in the testing probe. However, in March he confirmed two resignations of administrators at Gibsland-Coleman as a result of the probe; and at Crawford, a separate investigation led Britt to recommend that a principal's contract not be renewed.
