Isaac’s New Storm Track

The National Hurricane Center has released the latest storm track for Tropical Storm Isaac, showing very little change in the last several hours.  At this point, they are estimating landfall in Southeast Louisiana.  The Hurricane Warning remains in effect for an area from Morgan City to the Alabama-Florida border.  A tropical storm warning is in effect for Acadiana and KATC TV-3 Chief Meteorologist Rob Perillo is predicting at this hour that while the storm will be a category 2 hurricane when it comes ashore, it will largely affect the area with tropical squalls and winds of 50-55 miles per hour.
