Jamie Foxx – What Blasphemy!

It took me quite some time today to sit and write this opinion piece because of the apoplectic state Jamie Foxx sent me into.  During the Soul Train Music Awards Jamie Foxx introduced President Barack Obama and called him "our lord and our savior".  Notice I did not capitalize the words lord or savior because I reserve those words to describe my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  That Jamie Foxx would use those words to describe President Obama makes me ill.

The day after the election many said we had to lick our wounds and get over the fact that Mitt Romney lost and I tried but this introduction negates all I've tried.  The blamer-in-chief now has to live up to his past four years without blaming George W. Bush.  Barack Obama has done more to divide this nation than any president in recent history and to compare him to a deity is insane.

Jesus Christ said we had to love our neighbor, not give him everything he has not worked for.  Barack Obama wants to give everyone everything whether they have worked for it or not.  I will help those in need but not give everything I have worked for to some who have never put forth the effort.

Jamie Foxx has the audacity to call President Obama a deity the same weekend that the Russian newspaper Pravda, once the propaganda outlet of the failed communist party, called the president a communist fool.  The author, Xavier Lerma goes on to say,

Obama’s “cult of personality” has mesmerized the ignorant in America, who will follow the hope and change icon in much the same way as ”fools” still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia.

Deity or communist?  I've made up my mind.
