Two candidates are vying in a run-off on Saturday, November 19th to become the district six councilman for the Lafayette City Parish government.  Jared Doise joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" today to talk about why he is running.

Doise and Andy Naquin are facing each other in the run-off election as incumbent Sam Dore failed to garner enough votes to make the run-off election.  Doise says he wants to be part of a progressive council that thinks, not only of district six, but of the needs of our community as a whole.

Doise says he believes his experience as a business owner, along with his education, make him different from his opponent, and gives him the edge in the competition.
