Jazz Fest

NEW ORLEANS — The countdown to the 2011 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival has started. Festival officials, joined by Mayor Mitch Landrieu, held a kickoff press conference to discuss this year's plans for the festival, which draws hundreds of thousands of people to the city each spring. The event will be held over two weekends: April 29-May 1 and May 5-8.
