Jefferson Parish Deputies Shoot, Kill Suspect

A Metairie man is dead, the victim of gunfire from Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies who opened fire on him when he allegedly pointed a weapon at them. 

The incident happened early last night when deputies responded to a call that Warren Davis was threatening his wife with a knife.  Davis was identified as the man deputies shot and killed.
