Jennings Couple Arrested On Child Sex Charges

A Jennings couple is in jail in connection with sex crimes police say involve young victims.

Jarred Pontiff of Youngsville and his girlfriend, Heather Skrantz of Jennings were arrested Friday after deputies responded to a 911 call that Pontiff had molested a child.

He was arrested on charges of simple rape and aggravated rape. Skrantz was arrested on charges of accessory after the fact.

Pontiff is a registered sex offender and was recently released from prison.
