Jennings Mother Arrested For Failure To Report Sex Offender

A Jefferson Davis Parish woman is facing several charges after deputies say she violated the law.  Jennings mother Nichole Lantz was arrested because she allowed her juvenile child to be in the same home with a registered sex offender.

Lantz is facing charges of:

• Accessory to failure to register and report a sex offender
• Obstruction of justice
• Improper supervision of a juvenile

Detectives from the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Lantz on Friday following an investigation of the sex offender.  The sex offender had previously been arrested for a parole violation.

Lantz was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail on the above charged, but later bonded out.
