Jennings Woman Booked Into Parish Jail On Burglarizing, Access Card Counts

A 24-year-old Jennings woman was arrested Wednesday amid allegations she burglarized a home and used an access card without permission.

According to the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office, Ashlin Elizabeth Guidry is in the parish jail on counts of simple burglary and theft.

The woman reportedly confessed after her arrest to burglarizing the Jennings home and using the access card without permission in November.

Guidry allegedly stole a $1,700 pair of earrings, but the jewelry was not found when deputies executed a search of her vehicle.

Bond has not been set.
