Jindal Declares State Of Emergency

Governor Bobby Jindal is declaring a state of emergency as the Mississippi River continues to rise in Louisiana because of snow melt and heavy rains to the north.  The National Weather Service says the river will crest in mid-May at its highest level in decades, flooding low-lying areas and making river travel difficult.
