Jindal Supports Birther Bill

Governor Bobby Jindal says if the legislature passes a so-called "birther" bill, he will sign it.  The proposal would require an original or certified copy of a birth certificate and additional proof of citizenship for anyone who runs in Louisiana for president, vice president or Congress.  The bill will be before the regular legislative session that begins Monday.
