Jindal Touts $9.75 Million Investment Coming To Jennings

Metalplate Galvanizing today announced plans to build a plant in Jennings. According to Metalplate CEO Hartwell Davis Jr. and Governor Bobby Jindal a $9.75 million dollar investment will build a 50,000 square foot facility creating 104 new direct jobs with an average annual salary of $46,300. Metalplate claims 245 new indirect jobs will be created and 50 construction jobs will also be created.

Governor Jindal said of the project,

Our efforts to strengthen our business climate are truly paying off-more people have a job in Louisiana today than ever before.

Donald Woods, President of the Jefferson Davis Parish Police Jury said,
