Earlier this week the Louisiana Legislature took up a bill by Representative Sam Jones that would have prevented public owned utilities from offering pay-per-view programs that many say are offensive.  The move would have prohibited LUS's Fiber To The Home from selling pay-per-view including pornography.

Lafayette City Parish President Joey Durel joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" to talk about that issue and others.  This week State Senator Mike Michot offered an amendment to Jones' bill that would have exempted Lafayette, but that got shot down.

Now the measure is moving to committee on this last day of the Louisiana Legislature.
