John Kennedy Discusses La. Government Waste & U.S. Senate Candidacy (Audio)

In Louisiana, should we raise taxes or not in dealing with the budget shortfall? That's been a hotly debated question over the last few weeks and months and there's no debating where La. State Treasurer and U.S. Senate candidate John Kennedy stands on the issue, saying it's a stupid idea to raise taxes.

Kennedy was a guest on "Acadiana's Morning News" on Thursday to answer questions about the mismanagement of the state budget over the years and ways that our government should quit wasting money. Kennedy also explained what the day-to-day operations of the office of State Treasurer include and told us why he is running for U.S. Senate.

He also throws in his Super Bowl pick as well.
