Staff writer for The Hill, Jonathan Easley, joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" today and discussed the controversy surrounding Secret Service personnel assigned to protect the President in South America.  Easley said "it seems coincidental that the Secret Service problem in Columbia and the General Services Administration wasteful spending in Las Vegas should come to light at the same time".  Easley said "it seems to reflect a frat-boy atmosphere in both organizations".

In addition to the Secret Service agents Easley said it seems that five to ten military personnel were also involved in Columbia.  He said "it was just an ugly and dumb situation".

When asked if either of these events would pose a threat to President Obama's re-election Easley said he didn't think either would be a factor.
