For the second-consecutive week, Louisiana Ragin' Cajun sophomore pitcher Jordan Wallace tabbed the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week, on Monday.

Wallace, who won the award for the third time this season, went 4-0 on the week, with a 0.00 ERA. In 18 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs, and only five hits, while striking out a staggering 37 batters, including a career-high 18 strikeouts on Sunday, in a 6-0 Louisiana win over Middle Tennessee.

Wallace won all all three game over the weekend, as Louisiana completed a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference sweep of the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, to move her season record to 19-6, with a 1.87 ERA.

WKU junior outfielder Kelsie Mattox was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week, after hitting a .643, with nine hits, including three doubles, and three home runs.

Mattox and the Lady Toppers are in second place in the Sun Belt Conference standings, one-half game behind first place South Alabama, and one game in front of Louisiana.

The Cajuns, who have won 12-consecutive games, are now 30-11, overall, and 11-4 in Sun Belt Conference play.

UL returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Houston, in a non-conference doubleheader, before getting back in Sun Belt Conference action this weekend, when they travel to Boca Raton, Florida, to take on the FAU Owls.
