Multiple parishes along the coast have declared states of emergency. Lafayette Parish has now done so as well. KATC's Natalie Noah says we can expect the heavy winds and heavy rain to hit anywhere from late tonight to early tomorrow morning. Because of the storm's unpredictability, they are expecting anywhere from 5 to 20 inches of rain over the next few days in Acadiana.

Wind speeds are being projected anywhere from 30 mph to 60, again because of the storm's unpredictability.

Noah says Flash flooding is a very realistic possibility, especially in low-lying areas. She says we can expect to get the brunt of Tropical Storm Lee tomorrow and Sunday with rain lingering into Labor Day and possibly Tuesday as well.

Noah gives a best/worst case scenario for Tropical Storm Lee.
