Kickstarter To Fund “We Are Cajun” Documentary

Today on ‘Mornings With Ken and Bernie‘ we were joined by Allen Clements, a documentary film producer planning a documentary about Cajun culture, food and music called “We Are Cajun“. Clements is attempting to fund the project with donations through Kickstarter.com. After producing a number of documentaries Clements decided to do his part to help people outside of Louisiana distinguish between Cajun and Creole cultures.
As with any endeavor, funding is a major hurdle and Clements has decided that a Kickstarted campaign would be the best way to fund his project. Clements said,
“People can contribute just a small amount of money. They also can get something in return for their contribution. It’s very easy to do online by going to wearecajun.com, we’ve set it up to go to the Kickstarter video and you can watch a short video to show you what I’m trying to accomplish.”
