LA. Federal Employees On Edge

Thousands of federal employees in Louisiana are on edge--waiting to see what a looming government shutdown will mean for them. Terrence Johns, with the American Federation of Government Employees local in New
Orleans, relates fears expressed by his members of his union.  A budget deadlock on Capitol Hill could shut all non-essential federal government work down by this weekend. Johns says members of his union
have no idea whether or not they'll be furloughed until Congress makes a budget deal. He says they'll be in a pinch--a pinch the local economy will feel.
